Serbijanka
The land on which the Serbijanka chalet was built is part of the family heritage of one of the grandmothers of our family, Léonie. Coming from a large family, she married young and built her family on the slopes of the village of Manigod. On one of their pastures, where they had been raising cows and producing delicious cheeses for generations, in the fall of 2020 we decided to start the project of building our chalet.

Our acquaintance, a great love crowned by marriage a few years later, began in Serbia, where Ivana is from. The joint Serbijanka project was born from love and the desire to create a beautiful corner of paradise where guests can enjoy the pure and intoxicating air, surrounded by pine trees, on the sunny slopes of the magical French Alps.
The idea of the name was born from the desire to convey as beautifully as possible the Savoyard spirit and the hospitality of a Serbian woman, summed up in the harmony of the play on words, Serbijanka, which in the Serbian language means "a Serbian woman".
Since the name itself is specific, we went further and gave each of the rooms a different name in Serbian language; we have tried to ensure that each name given describes the energy that the piece embodies.

SPA AND WELLNESS
By reserving your body treatment for 50 minutes, you can access the wellness area. Please come one hour before your appointment. Don't forget to bring your swimsuit. A bathrobe, towel and slippers are at your disposal. The Wellness Area is reserved ONLY for guests of the Spa Harmonie des Sens.

“Praskozorje” has been declared the most beautiful word in the Serbian language; The moment when the day dawns and the sun spreads its rays over sleeping nature, the moment of the explosion of light, the dawn... The view from the window of this room represents exactly that, an explosion of colors, rays of sunshine and the beauty of nature that takes your breath away with every glance.
In Serbian tradition, “Vajat” was a separate small house next to the main house where newlyweds spent their first days of marriage enjoying time together. A love nest, as they usually say today... That's why we tried to leave a special personal imprint in this room and to convey our personal emotions
Context
“Gradina” has two meanings; First a fortification, a fortress surrounded by solid walls. It can also mean a garden, a green belt in front of or around the house. In this case it is a room on the north side of the house that overlooks a pine forest and a large green pasture, a room full of freshness and the smell of pine on summer days.
"Djerdan", a word that describes a necklace made of natural precious stones. The view from this room is of a row of gemstones shaped like a mountain range.
